Special prayers and rituals
As per the announcement, nuns assemble in the main temple and debate the courtyard in prayers of prevailing peace within all sentient beings and the long life of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, and all living Bodhisattvas. The prayers are also dedicated to the nunnery sponsors and in the hope of dispelling sufferings, miseries of all sentient beings from illness, wars, natural disasters like floods, earthquakes, droughts, and to attain realization of truth and follow the path of truth of all beings
The sequence of Puja for five days is as follows:
1. Recitation of (yum- ge – ding – duwi – sum) intensive, middling & condensed Sutras of Perfection of wisdom, prayers of the goddess of terrific aspects (Palden Lhamo), and White umbrella puja (dug – kaar).
2. Pujas of White Umbrella, Heart Sutra, Singhamukha, and Deity Puja.
3. Tara Rituals or Dolchok.
4. One lakh Tara prayers dedication.
