Novice ordination: [GETSULMA]

The Getsulma ordination has 36 vows for developing the mind. The Getsul itself means” the one who’s training in virtuous conduct”. Becoming a nun is joining a community of Sangha. It is to study and practice the teachings of Buddha and share them with others. It is truly a meaningful and worthy path to live one’s life as a nun. We are fortunate that the Buddha’s initiated tradition of a monastic is still alive.

We are happy to share the news that seven of our young nuns got a golden opportunity to receive this novice ordination by His Holiness Dalai Lama.
