From October 25th to November 24th, 2023, Bodhgaya in Bihar hosted the 27th Non-Sectarian Nun’s Annual Winter Debate (Jang Gun Choe). The debate centered on Pramana-Vartika (Valid Cognition) and involved 520 nuns from 10 nunneries across India and Nepal who participated in the month-long Buddhist Philosophical Debate session.

On 10 October, Jangchub Choeling nunnery organized a discussion session on analyzing and clearing doubts on Buddhist logic Pramana-Vartica (Tsema) in the presence of the nunnery abbot, teachers, Geshemas and all the student nuns in the nunnery’s main temple.
