New Chant Master

On the 6th April,2021, around 10:00 in the morning, the gong of nunnery temple gathered all nuns into main temple in the official ceremony of appointing new chant master. A chant master is the leading chanter of all prayers and scripture readings in the nunnery. Geshema Phuntsok Choedon la is appointed new chant master of Jangchub Choeling Nunnery elected by all nuns and the average tenure of nunnery chant master is three years. But one can even serve for five years at maximum.
