Je-Tsongkhapa Day Celebration

Lanterns, Butter lamps, cozy candle lights and sparking hanging lights are lighted whole night in the Jangchub Choeling Nunnery prior to the celebation day of Lama Tsongkhapa Day. There was a whole night prayers of Miktsema aiming at loving -kindness ,a prayer to Lama Tsongkhapa . Then early morning gong of nunnery bat 6;00 gathered all the nuns into main temple for recitation of “The essence of the explanation of the provisional and true meanings” sutra by Tspngkha-pa followed by special lunch.

Sun set was followed by performance of rituals inside main temple for the Guru as Tsok. And nuns finised Tsong puja with dedication of …
