89th Birthday celebration of His Holiness!

Happy 89th Birthday Your Holiness! On this auspicious day, we pray that His Holiness may have a very long and healthy life so that we can all benefit from his enlightened vision and wisdom for as long as possible. We are grateful to His Holiness for his tireless compassionate work and boundless inspiration.

 

 

We celebrated the Birthday in the presence of our respected Abbot, kind teachers, and all our nuns. This year we have nuns from other nunneries who have come here to participate in the GESHEMA examination of 2024.

 

 

 

 

A few nuns of Jangchub Choeling Nunnery participated in an event that included essay writing and oral memorization tests. These activities are especially dedicated to His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.

We also planted lots of flowers & seedlings on this auspicious day, as we do every year.
